Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using the website www.thecharmerie.co operated by The Charmerie under The Shared Story FZE LLC. By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these T&Cs. If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not access the Site.

1. General Conditions & Compliance

1.1 Country of Domicile: The United Arab Emirates is our country of domicile.
1.2 Eligibility: Minors under the age of 18 are prohibited from registering as a user of this website and are not allowed to transact or use the website.
1.3 Account Confidentiality: Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account and password. The Charmerie is not responsible for any unauthorized access resulting from a failure to protect your login credentials.
1.4 OFAC Sanctions: The Charmerie will not trade with or provide any services to individuals and companies owned or controlled by, or acting for or on behalf of, OFAC (Office of Foreign Assets Control) targeted countries and programs of individuals, groups, and entities, such as terrorists and drug traffickers designated under the OFAC programs that are not country-specific.
1.5 Product Descriptions: We strive to ensure that all descriptions, photographs, and prices are correct. However, charms are often handmade or feature natural materials; descriptions are for reference only.

2. Order, Payment, and Currency

2.1 Payment Methods & Currency: We accept payments online using Visa and MasterCard credit/debit cards in AED (United Arab Emirates Dirham). We also support Apple Pay and Cash on Delivery (COD).
2.2 Transaction Records: Cardholders must retain a copy of transaction records and Merchant policies and rules.
2.3 Pricing: All prices are inclusive of applicable VAT unless otherwise stated. We reserve the right to change prices at any time without notice. The displayed price and currency at the checkout page, will be the same price and currency printed on the Transaction Receipt and the amount charged to the card will be shown in your card currency.
2.4 Order Acceptance: Your receipt of an order confirmation does not signify our final acceptance. We reserve the right to decline your order for any reason, including unavailability of stock or suspected fraudulent activity.
2.5 Cancellation: An order may be cancelled by the customer within 2 hours of placement, provided it has not entered the "Preparation" stage. Contact us at askthecharmers@thecharmerie.co.

3. Intellectual Property (IP) and Website Use

3.1 Ownership: All content, including "The Charmerie" name, logo, text, graphics, and product designs, is the exclusive property of The Charmerie and protected by UAE and international copyright laws.
3.2 Prohibited Use: You are prohibited from reproducing, copying, or exploiting content for commercial purposes without express written permission.

4. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

4.1 Governing Law: These Terms and Conditions, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with this website, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Arab Emirates.
4.2 Jurisdiction: Any dispute, difference, or claim arising out of these T&Cs shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
